Ansys Structural analysis (In-progress)
Personal project
This was a project that I made in my own free time to display some of the results that I have gotten so far using ansys workbench / mechanical to perform static structural analysis.
Geometry and mesh
The geometry was created in creo and the mesh was refined within Ansys Mechanical until the nodal / element limit was reached for the student license
Results
The entire plane wing geometry was assigned the aluminium material parameter and the boundary conditions were applied. One end of the plane wing was fixed in all degrees of freedom, and a load of 1000 N was applied to every top face on the ribs.
